Pink Floyd inducted into UK Music Hall of Fame on this day in 2005

Psychedelic rock band Pink Floyd was inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame on this day in 2005. Rocker Pete Townshend did the honours of memorializing the band, founded in the 1960s, at the event.

Syd Barrett, Roger Waters, Richard Wright, Nick Mason and David Gilmour, the aspiring and inspiring members of the innovative group, experimentated with feedback, echoes, lighting and much more as inventory into their trademark musical brand.
